You need to activate and verify your PayPal account in order to sell on refurbed.

By clicking on the PayPal icon within your Settings, you get redirected to our refurbed PayPal page.

Work your way through the “Personal” and “Business” Information and click on “Submit” once you are done filling it out. In order to create a Hyperwallet account for you you need a bank account with the currency EUR.

Once we have connected your refurbed account to Hyperwallet you will see a red banner in your refurbed merchant backend indicating that PayPal needs more information to verify your account. Work your way through the “Personal” and “Business” Information. PayPal might require some documents, like proof of identification, address, and business. In general Hyperwallet allows the following documents for business registration:

• Business registration (”Gewerbeanmeldung”)
• Articles of Incorporation (”Gründungsurkunde”)
• Operation Agreement (”Betriebsvereinbarung”)

After you submitted the registration PayPal will verify it. Once it is approved your account is successfully connected to the payment provider and ready to be activated. Your refurbed Account Manager will activate your refurbed account after the onboarding process is completed.

<aside> ⚠️ Important Note It is currently not possible to onboard one-man businesses (”Einzelunternehmen”) and Registered associations (eingetragene Vereine) on PayPal. If you are a one-man business (”Einzelunternehmen”) or registered association (”eingetragene Vereine”) you'll be solely connected to Stripe.
