This quick start is for Template Managers using the refurbed Seller Template Editor app. It covers only the essentials to begin working productively. Only users with the role “Seller Template Manager” can see the app.

Access the app
Create a template
- Required: Title, Body
- Optional: Category, Language
- Use the formatting bar to adapt the look of your template.
- Keep names clear. Example titles: "Order Confirmation", "Return Instructions".
Preview
- Open Live Preview to see example ticket values and applied formatting.
Save and publish
- Save as Draft to store work-in-progress.
- Publish to create or update the Zendesk Macro.
- Macro naming format after publish:
- Group: “GroupName's” custom templates::Category::Title::Language
Update or unpublish
- Edit, Save as Draft, then Publish again to update.
- Unpublish removes the macro but keeps the draft.
