Zendesk Views — Seller Guide
(for users with “Add and edit personal and group views”; single-group access)
What you can do
- Create personal views (visible only to you).
- Create group views and share them with your group.
- Edit/clone your own views; deactivate / reactivate later.
- Categorise views using the
Category::View name syntax.
- Export a view to CSV (email link; export cooldown applies).
- Reorder your personal views list.
- Share a link to a view (access still enforced).
What you cannot do
- Create global (all-agent) views.
- Reorder shared views for others (admin-only).
Create a view (step-by-step)
- Admin Center → Workspaces → Agent tools → Views → Add view.
- Set a Title (you can folderize with
Tier 2::Returns, etc.).
- Who has access:
- Only you (personal), or
- Agents in your group (group view).
- Add Conditions (use All/Any blocks). Include at least one of: Status, Status category, Type, Group, Assignee, or Requester in Meet all. Use Preview.
- Choose Columns (up to 10), Group by, Order by → Save.
